Dear Erin – I came back to the beginning of your blog. I think you may be quoting Colm Toibin (I don’t have the necessary accent marks on my laptop.) I am nearly 76 and have spent oh, more than a third of that time, in intensive therapy, for what is now generally called CPTSD. I came back to read more. Thank you for writing. TS
Yes I quote Colm Tobin. I love his work. He lives just up the road from where I grew up. Thank you for taking the trouble to read my writing. I appreciate it. I hope it is of some benefit to you. I too have spent years in therapy for CPTSD and Dissociative Identity Disorder from Child Abuse. I use psychotherapy and EMDR. I am finally making progress. I hope you are well. Thank you again. Erin
